About the event

This is your invitation to wind down with a slow, nourishing evening of candlelit yin yoga and sound. Gift yourself an hour and a half to switch off, go inward, and relax deeply in both the mind & body.

A dreamy antidote to a busy week, yin yoga allows you to release tension from the fascia by holding poses for longer, and when paired with the healing sounds of crystal bowls, chimes and binaural beats, your nervous system will be lulled into its rest and digest state. Katie will guide you through calming breathwork, meditation, a series of held asana targeting specific chakras, closing with an extended savasana to fully bathe you in sound.

Bring your comfy clothes, water bottle, and an eye mask if you have one.

About Katie:

Katie completed her 200 hour yoga teacher training in Bali, where she experienced other transformative practices such as active meditation, pranayama, kirtan and ecstatic dance.

Alongside teaching ashtanga and vinyasa yoga, Katie believes yin to be a really nourishing, accessible way into a yoga path for all levels and bodies, and wants to make soulful, mindful practices accessible to anyone who wants to let go of stress and anxiety from their daily life while connecting deeply with the self. Katie is also a classically trained singer, and loves to bring chanting and her own medicine music into her teaching, as well as healing soundscapes using instruments she fell in love with during her Sound Practitioner Training with Silence + Noise.
